Martial Arts lessons for kids offer many advantages for any child who wants to improve themselves physically and mentally. In fact Martial Arts lessons can be especially beneficial to children. ﷯Regardless of age, anyone who consistently trains as part of a structured Martial Arts program will become stronger over time. Tenbears Dayton Martial Arts Academy Kids classes, generally include a warm up period at the beginning of class where students take part in group exercises to reduce injuries and build strength. Those exercises may include traditional conditioning exercises such as pushups, situps, leg lifts, squats etc. to help students build strength in their arms, legs and core. Students will grow stronger as time passes and additional forms of exercise may be added, depending on the goals of each student and the types of classes students are participating in. At Tenbears Martial Arts Academy, our Kids Martial Arts classes are designed to allow each student to progress at their own pace. We encourage each student to work toward goals that they choose, so they see their accomplishments as they continue to make progress. Short term and long term goals each serve a purpose, keeping our students motivated. As they reach and surpass their short term goals they eventually achieve the greater long-term goals they have set for themselves. Martial Arts Builds Flexibility ﷯Our Kids Martial Arts classes are designed to prepare students for a lifetime of fitness. Part of that philosophy includes a training regimen that enhances flexibility. That way our students are better prepared for their Martial Arts classes and for other sports they may decide to take part in as they become older. All athletes require flexibility to perform at the highest levels. Tenbears Dayton Martial Arts Academy Kids classes, generally include as part of their initial warm-up, a variety of stretching exercises. These exercises focus on warming up and stretching any muscle group that is active during a typical Martial Arts class. Arms, legs, back and core stretching exercises are the most common to expect. Our Kids Martial Arts students will gradually increase their flexibility as time passes. Our goal is to make sure that our students understand the importance of taking the time to properly condition and prepare for any endeavor. It's just one part of the overall discipline that Martial Arts can instill. We want our students to become better athletes and to develop good lifelong habits that will help them far beyond our Martial Arts dojo. At Tenbears Martial Arts Academy, our Kids Martial Arts classes are designed to allow each student to progress at their own pace. So whether it's Martial Arts training, strength training or flexibility training, we encourage each student to work toward goals that they choose, so they see their accomplishments as they make progress. Martial Arts Builds Agility Tenbears Kids Martial Arts lessons and classes help students improve their physical abilities in many ways. One of those physical improvements will be their overall agility. The training regimen our students use will include many Martial Arts exercises and drills that will make students faster and more agile. As students develop better technique, their overall agility improves. Through repetitive training and a focus on using better technique throughout each class, our young students' agility will become a key factor in their success. Tenbears Dayton Martial Arts Academy Kids classes, are very hands on. They will grapple and spar as part of every class. By learning proper technique and then practicing that technique immediately afterwards, students develop their skills and agility must faster. We demonstrate and then have students practice what they observed so we can make corrections when needed right away. That reduces the likelihood of our students developing bad habits. ﷯ Our Kids Martial Arts students will increase their agility as time passes. We want to make sure that our students understand the importance of taking the time to learn proper technique and in doing so they will benefit in the long run.
