Some fighters like to keep some distance from their opponents and use punches, kicks, elbow strikes and knees standing instead of grappling on the floor. Tese fighters are known as Strikers. A good Striker will try to wear out and knock out their adversary. On the other hand if you like to fight much closer to your opponent, you'd be considered a Grappler. Grapplers like to fight closer to their opponents and will take or throw their opponents to the ground. Once on the ground they will punch and kick them or subject their opponents to submission holds until they submit. Once an opponent submits the referee must end the fight. ﷯ We offer introductory, intermediate and advanced levels of Mixed Martial Arts classes. Our Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes both provide great training for Mixed Martial Arts. Mixed Martial Arts is a combination of various Martial Arts, including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, Boxing, Muay Thai and more.
